Apprentice Program

Our Apprentice Program is affiliated with the Sarasota Cuban Ballet Studio Company. Apprentice program students are high school to age 22 and are selected through audition.

The 36-week season includes daily technique class, with additional classes in pointe, men’s technique, variations, partnering, contemporary, and dance conditioning. Classes are small and taught by an international faculty following the renowned Cuban training method. The Sarasota Cuban Ballet is a premier destination in the US for Cuban training.

Apprentice program students will have the opportunity to perform with Sarasota Cuban Ballet Studio Company members in productions at professional theater venues and performances in the Sarasota Cuban Ballet’s auditorium. The Apprentice program provides an important bridge from student training to a professional career.
